Immunology and Allergic Diseases Division

The Division of Immunology and Allergic Diseases of the Department of Pulmonology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine provides services for the diagnosis, treatment and long-term follow-up of asthma, allergic diseases and immune system diseases.

Our division holds international accreditation as a GA2LEN UCARE (Urticaria Reference and Excellence Center), ACARE (Angioedema Reference and Excellence Center) and AirwaysCARE (Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis Reference and Excellence Center).

Services Provided

The following diseases are diagnosed, treated and followed up in our Division:

Asthma and allergic respiratory tract diseases
Allergic rhinitis
Chronic urticaria
Angioedema and hereditary angioedema
Drug allergies
Food allergies
Bee and other insect venom allergies
Anaphylaxis
Mast cell diseases and mastocytosis
Primary and secondary immunodeficiencies

In addition, allergen immunotherapy, biological agent treatments, immunoglobulin replacement therapies, drug and food provocation tests, drug desensitization, skin prick/intradermal/patch tests and pulmonary function tests are performed.

How Can I Benefit?

Our patients are evaluated by outpatient clinic appointment; allergy tests, provocation tests and treatments that are deemed necessary are planned and carried out.
