Certain departments require no appointments, and can admit patients on walk-in basis.

At Beytepe Hospital Oral and Dental Health Clinic, 4 dentists provide services.

These services include:
1-) Oral diagnosis and radiology (initial examination)
2-) Periodontology (dental scaling)
3-) Conservative dental treatment (dental filling treatment)
4-) Endodontics (root canal treatment)
5-) Surgery (tooth extraction procedures)

Upon clinical and radiological examination of teeth and intraoral soft tissues, further treatment is offered by appointment according to the prescribed treatment plan.

All diagnostic and treatment approaches within physical therapy and rehabilitation medicine are applied by the faculty members and specialist staff of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, using modern technological devices and systems.

Services Provided:

The problems our department deals with are painful musculoskeletal diseases, rehabilitation of orthopedic, neurological and rheumatic diseases, rehabilitation of cardiopulmonary diseases, pediatric rehabilitation, sports injuries and their rehabilitation, hand rehabilitation, osteoporosis and geriatric rehabilitation.

In the measurement and evaluation unit within our Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department, high-technology devices and systems are used. These are an isokinetic dynamometer system, a balance measurement system, body composition measurement and superficial musculoskeletal ultrasonography.

In our treatment unit, treatments with physical agents such as thermotherapy (heat treatment), cryotherapy (cold treatment), electrotherapy (treatment with electricity) and hydrotherapy (water treatment), as well as traction, mobilization methods and exercise therapies are applied.

The Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department admits patients by appointment.

Physical Therapy Physicians provide service on Mondays and Wednesdays between 08:30 - 12:00 / 13:30 - 17:00.

Following the examination by physical therapy physicians, the musculoskeletal evaluations and treatment approaches deemed necessary are applied by physiotherapists.

Nursing services are carried out in cooperation with the other units of the hospital and with a teamwork approach. The aim is to provide comprehensive, effective and well-planned nursing care in line with the needs and expectations of the patient and their family. Nursing Services are run by the Nursing Services Coordination Office.

The Nursing Services provided include;
• Blood draws
• Blood pressure and fever monitoring,
• Dressing
• Injections
• Suture removal
• Vaccination
• IV access placement
• Operating room nursing
• Outpatient assistance and clinical care
• Health education and screening.

Our operating room has 2 operating theaters and 1 recovery room with 2 beds.

Operations can be performed under local and general anesthesia. Our operating room has an Arthroscopy System.

Operations are performed on weekdays during working hours.

There is a fully equipped recovery unit with a capacity of two beds, where our patients who receive general anesthesia and sedation are monitored after surgery.

Our patients who have recovered after surgery and whose condition is stable are discharged.

In addition, our hospital has 5 fully equipped patient rooms where our patients can stay with their companions.

In the Hospital Radiology Department, 1 radiologist assigned from the Adult Hospital provides ultrasound imaging service all day on Tuesdays. 8 Radiology Technicians work there.

In the Radiology Unit;

- Direct radiography,

- Bone mineral density measurement (BMD),

- Ultrasonography examinations can be performed. (Service is provided by appointment on Tuesdays.)

2 Health Technicians work in the hospital laboratory.

In the laboratory;

• Complete blood count (Hemogram)
• Complete urinalysis
• Sedimentation (ESR)
• Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) are performed.

For tests that cannot be performed in our laboratory, blood and urine samples taken between 08.30 and 11.00 in the morning are sent to the H.Ü. Hospitals Laboratories.

Within the scope of medical examination, ECG recording is performed by 1 health technician when needed.

Beytepe Psychological Counseling Unit renders service to the students, personnel and (immediate) personnel relatives of our university. Psychosocial support and counseling services are provided in the unit free of charge. Also, group activities and trainings are organized. 5 sociologists and 2 social service experts are assigned within the unit. Furthermore, experts and counsellors assigned in psychology, social service, psychological counselling and guidance sections support the unit at certain times.

For Receiving Appointment/Service from the Unit: Application form is completed, a preliminary interview is carried out and patients are referred based on the type of the problem Psychological Counselling unit renders service on weekdays within office hours. Interviews conducted in our unit are based on the principle of confidentiality and privacy.

A supervision chain is practiced in our unit, therefore assigned supervisors (from psychology and service sections) give support for cases when required. Furthermore, when required, cases are referred to the psychiatrist assigned at Beytepe Hospital. Psychological Counselling Unit General Coordinator is Prof. Dr. Orhan Derman.

Health services are provided to our university students, our staff and their relatives at our Sıhhiye Campus Health Center, which is affiliated with our hospital.
In addition to medical examination and treatment services, nursing services such as blood draws, blood pressure and fever monitoring, IV fluid administration, dressing, wound care, vaccination and injections are provided at the Health Center. ECG recording is also performed.

1 nurse works there, affiliated with our hospital, and within the scope of nursing services, blood pressure measurement and fever monitoring, injection of prescribed medications, dressing and wound care are performed. Counseling and guidance on health-related matters are provided to students.
