Hacettepe Adult Hospital has been built as a complex of hospitals, consisting of 8 blocks including İhsan Doğramacı Children’s Hospital. Blocks 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the hospital complex, the Internal Diseases Building and the Supplementary Outpatient Clinics Building constitute the Adult Hospital.
At Hacettepe Adult Hospital, there are 24 Departments, 30 outpatient clinics, 28 inpatient clinics, 10 intensive care units, 2 operating room departments (27 operating rooms) as well as a Main Emergency Department for Adults which provides a 24-hour service. Furthermore, Radiology Department, Central Laboratories, Blood Center, Surgical Suites and Call Center operate under the Adult Hospital.
These said departments act as conglomeration of units which provide service to the Oncology Hospital, Children’s Hospital, FTR Oran Hospital, Beytepe Hospital and the Dental Hospital.
In 2014, acupuncture unit has opened its doors, and the faculty members started offering these health services as well.
As of today, there are 9 intensive care units on the basis of branches at our hospital with a bed capacity of 730. Tertiary level intensive care services are rendered in intensive care units with a total bed capacity of 80.
Number of outpatients who are referred at hospital is approximately 60,000 on a monthly basis, while inpatients who are hospitalized for treatment count approximately 2,700 on a monthly basis according to our records. Surgeries are performed on approximately 2500 patients per month at our hospital.
There are approximately 488 members of faculty as well as 400 residents all of whom serve as physicians at our hospital. As a major health institution and training center, our hospital is equipped with all the tools and instruments that the modern medicine requires, and with its staff members’ combined knowledge and expertise continues to provide exceptional services.
Due to the exceptional heath care services we offer, the demand for our hospital is growing day by day – as the need for our services increases from all the regions of Turkey and all over the world, especially from our neighboring countries.
01The Adult Hospital – Additional Bed Fees
Our inpatient services consist of exclusive single bed (suite or private) rooms or two bed (semi-private) rooms. All rooms are equipped with a bathtub, toilet, air-conditioner, TV and telephone, and an extra seat is exclusively available in single bed rooms for all-day visitors.
According to the Medical Enforcement Guidelines, the in-patients that are receiving treatments at our hospital will be charged an additional bed fee.
SERVICES AND PERSONS THAT ARE EXEMPT FROM THE ADDITIONAL BED FEE RULE
In accordance with the Medical Enforcement Declaration, no extra fees will be charged for;

a) Health care services offered for emergency situations (traffic accident, forensic cases, occupational accidents and other emergency situations) except the emergency health care services which can be invoiced to Social Security Institution as “Green category examination”

b) Intensive care services,

c) Burn treatment services,

d) Cancer treatment (radiotherapy, chemotherapy, radioisotope therapy),

e) Health care services provided to newborns,

f) Health care services in relations to organ, tissue or stem cell transplantation,

g) Health care services addressed at surgical procedures undertaken for congenital anomalies

h) Cardiovascular surgical procedures. (excluding the procedures listed as exceptional health care services)

h) “Cochlear implantation” coded as 618200-P618200 listed under ADDENDUM-2/B and ADDENDUM-2/C annexed to Medical Enforcement Declaration

i) Hemodialysis therapies,

j) Individuals who receive honorary pension pursuant to the provisions of Law No. 1005,

k) Individuals enpensioned pursuant to the provisions of Law No. 2330,

l) Individuals who receive pensions as disabled war veterans under Law No. 3713,
-
m) No additional fees will be charged to individuals who were injured due to being subject to incidents listed in Article 21 of Law No. 3713 until their treatments are finalized or disabilities are ascertained.
All of our patients are informed of these additional charges except those who are exempt as listed above.
