Hakkında

Türk Eğitim Derneği Ankara Koleji Lisesi’ni 1983’te, Hacettepe Üniversitesi İngilizce Tıp Fakültesi’ni 1989’da bitirdi. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Nükleer Tıp Anabilim Dalı’nda uzmanlık eğitimini 1995’te tamamladı. 1998’de doçent, 2004'te profesör oldu.







1992’de ve 2001’de toplam 2 yıl süreyle ABD’de New York’taki Memorial Sloan-Kettering Kanser Merkezi’nde çalışmalar yaptı.







1995’te Türkiye Nükleer Tıp Derneği Prof. Dr. Suphi Artunkal Ödülü’nü, 1994-1995 ve 1995-1996 Hacettepe Üniversitesi Araştırma Grubu Bilim Teşvik Ödülü, 2002’de TÜBİTAK Bilim Teşvik Ödülü ve 2003 yılında TÜBA-GEBİP ödülünü aldı.







Nükleer onkoloji ve pozitron emisyon tomografisi (PET) ile ilgilenmektedir.
