Emine Eren Koçak

Hacettepe Üniversitesi İngilizce Tıp Fakültesi’nden 2000 yılında mezun oldu. Aynı yıl Başkent Üniversitesi Psikiyatri AD’da başladığı uzmanlık eğitimini 2005’te tamamladı. Hemen arkasından Hacettepe Üniversitesi Nörolojik Bilimler ve Psikiyatri Enstitüsünde Temel Nörolojik Bilimler (Neuroscience) Doktorasına başladı, doktora çalışmalarının tez kısmını 2 yıl süreyle gittiği ABD’de Michigan Üniversitesi’nde Prof Dr Huda Akil’in laboratuvarında tamamladı. Doktora derecesini 2009 yılında aldı.

2005 yılında Beyin Araştırmaları Derneği Proje Destek Ödülü’nü ve Türkiye Psikiyatri Derneği Araştırma Projesi Destek Ödülü’nü aldı. 2007 yılında Novartis Foundation bursiyerliği kazandı, 3 ay süre ile Michigan Üniversitesi Moleküler ve Davranışsal Nörobilim Enstitüsü’nde çalıştı. Buradaki çalışmalarını 2007 yılında kazandığı TÜBA Bütünleştirilmiş Doktora Araştırma Programıbursiyerliği ile sürdürdü. 2011’de Tübitak Ulusal Genç Araştırmacı Kariyer Geliştirme proje desteği aldı.
