Prof. Ismail Celik is an internist and medical oncologist.

He works a Full-Professor in the Medical Oncology Section of the Internal Medicine Department of Hacettepe University School of Medicine.

His area of interests are Melanoma, Targeted Therapies and Immuno-Oncology.

He worked as a Visiting Professor in the Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health, on "Smoking related cancers between 2006-2007.

Currently, he works as the director of the Hacettepe University, Tobacco Control, Education and Taxation Research and Application Center.
