Ateş Kara

 Ankara Lisesi’ni ve Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi (İng)’ni bitirdi. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı’nda uzmanlık eğitimini 2000’de tamamladı. 1998-1999’da Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı Başasistanlığı yaptı. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı Çocuk Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları Ünitesi’nde çocuk enfeksiyon hastalıkları yandal ihtisasını 2002’de bitirdikten sonra aynı ünitede çalışmaya devam etti. 2004 yılında pediatri doçenti, 2010 yılında profesör oldu. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Öğretim üyesi olan Dr. Ateş Kara, halen Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları Derneği genel sekreteri görevini de yürütmektedir. Ayrıca, kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarında  farklı danışmanlık görevleride bulunmaktadır.
