Alp Usubütün

Ankara Atatürk Anadolu Lisesi’ni ve Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’ni bitirdi. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalı’nda uzmanlık eğitimini 1995’te tamamladı. 2000’de yardımcı doçent, 2003 yılında doçent ve 2010 yılında profesör oldu. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde Patoloji Anabilim Dalında çalışmaktadır. Özellikle de “Kadın Hastalıkları Patolojisi” (Jinekopatoloji) konusunda deneyim sahibi olup ayrıca patolojide kalite kontrolü en başta gelen ilgi alanıdır.

1999 ve 2001 yıllarında toplam beş ay süre ile sırasıyla Almanya’da Johannes Gutenberg Üniversitesi’nde elektron mikroskopi ve Kanada’da McGill Üniversitesi’nde jinekopatoloji konusunda çalışmalar yaptı. 2004 yılında Harvard Üniversitesi, Massachusettes General Hospital’da 4 ay jinekopatoloji alanında ziyaretçi “fellow”luk yaptı.

“International Society of GynecologicPathologist”, “International GynecologicCancerSociety” ve “World Association of MedicalEditors” üyesidır. “Türk Patoloji Dergisi” Baş Editörlüğü başta olmak üzere çeşitli ulusal ve uluslarası dergilerde editör ve danışman olarak görev yapmaktadır. Patoloji Dernekleri Federasyonunu (PDF) yönetim kurulu üyeli ,PDF “Standardizasyon Komisyonunda” ve PDF “Sosyal Medya” komisyon üyesi ve başkanı olarak çalışmalar yürütmüştür. Sağlık Bakanlığı tıbbi laboratuvarlar komisyon üyeliği yapmıştır.

Bugüne kadar çok sayıda ulusal ve uluslararası yayınlar yapmış, kitap bölümleri yazmış ve bir çok bilimsel toplantıda davetli konuşmacı olarak yer almıştır.
