Measures taken in our hospitals regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) (13/03/2020)
Dear Patients and Patient Relatives,
Within the framework of the measures to be taken to limit the spread in our country of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, which has gained global importance, a new action plan has been put into effect in our hospitals, and we kindly ask you to be careful regarding the following matters.
- To protect the health of our patients, their relatives and the public and to minimize the risk of spread of the virus, patient visits to all inpatient wards and intensive care units within our hospitals have been suspended until further notice. No visitors other than one companion accompanying the patient will be admitted to the wards.
- In our outpatient clinics and day-care areas, the number of people accompanying the patient should be limited as much as possible. It would be appropriate for our patients to come to the outpatient clinics and day-care areas alone if possible, or, for patients who need support, accompanied by only one relative.
- Patients with fever, cough and shortness of breath should report these complaints immediately upon arrival, and should be given a mask and directed to the examination areas as soon as possible.
We kindly ask for your help with the above points to assist us, the healthcare workers, and wish you healthy days.
