How Do I Get an Examination?

Appointments can be made by calling “444 4 444” or by using the “online appointment” application on the internet. Because of our training hours, our outpatient service starts only at 09:15 on Friday mornings and at 08:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and operates until 17:00 on all weekdays. Except in emergencies, our patients' results are evaluated in the afternoon by making an appointment with our secretariat.

Patients who make an examination appointment in our department are evaluated by pediatric residents and faculty members, after which the necessary tests for their current complaints and illnesses are planned. Patients are re-evaluated with the results of the requested blood, urine and radiological tests, and their treatment is planned. When necessary, reports and prescriptions are issued, or consultations may be requested from other departments. Plans for the evaluation of results and the follow-up process are decided together with the patient and the patient's relatives, taking the patients' diagnostic and treatment needs into account.

Every patient and relative who comes with an appointment must apply to our secretariat and have their official registration done. After the patients' current height and body weight are measured, they must proceed to the room called on the screens in the waiting area for the examination. Patients evaluated, examined and tested in the General Pediatrics Outpatient Clinics are referred, if deemed necessary, to the relevant pediatric subspecialties or to other departments.

You must arrive in accordance with your examination appointment time. If something prevents you from coming, you must inform our secretariat that you cannot come by calling 3051138. In this way, it will be possible for other patients waiting to get an appointment from our department to benefit as well.
