The main purpose of our laboratory services is to contribute accurately and quickly to the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of diseases. The scientific and technological infrastructure required for this contribution to be fully provided is continuously updated by our team. Producing fast test results with high quality and accuracy is the basic principle of our laboratory service.
A quality management system has been established so that the tests performed in our laboratory comply with national and international quality standards. According to this system, the preanalytical, analytical and postanalytical processes of the tests are closely monitored, and results in line with quality standards are produced. As part of quality management, laboratory safety inspections, staff training, and internal and external quality controls are carried out regularly. Our laboratory was commended during JCI Hospital Accreditation inspections for more than meeting quality standards. Our institutionalized quality management system has also been of great help in our Ministry of Health licensing work.
On average, seven million tests per year are performed in our Central and Emergency Laboratories
The main service areas of our laboratories include Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, Metabolism and Molecular diagnostic tests. All tests performed in our laboratories are carried out under the supervision and responsibility of faculty members who are experts in their fields, ensuring that the tests are done with the most up-to-date and reliable methods.
