Resident Training Process

There is a five-year training period, including rotations. Throughout the training program, residents are encouraged to conduct research, present this research at national and international congresses, publish it as articles in scientific journals, and, during their specialty training, to complete international certifications related to orthopedics and traumatology and to train and work at institutions abroad.

Residents who have earned the right to work through the Medical Specialization Exam work on a rotating basis for set periods in the sub-units within the department. During the training process, a group on-call system is used, with duty every fourth day. The night on-call team responds to emergency cases under the responsibility of the group's faculty member.
