In this context, the committee carries out the following activities;

- - Developing and implementing a program based on the principle of antibiotic stewardship for the prudent use of antibiotics,
- - Ensuring that medications are stored appropriately and safely and can be easily obtained 24 hours a day,
- - Ensuring that emergency medications are stored and managed in a standard way,
- - Protecting medications against loss and theft throughout the hospital,
- - Planning a medication recall system when needed,
- - Standardizing the medication ordering process, ensuring the training and compliance of all staff and ensuring that the order is recorded in the patient file,
- - Determining the management process for medications the patient is taking on a continuing basis,
