The ZAP-X Robotic Gyroscopic Radiosurgery System, which will be the first in Turkey to serve in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Hacettepe University Oncology Hospital, entered service in 2024.
The Medical Oncology Palliative Support Unit serves patients presenting to Hacettepe University Oncology Hospital to meet their needs in the areas of pain, nutrition, psychosocial support and social services. Our hospital received accreditation as an integrated oncology and palliative care center from the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) in 2017, and it is the first university/public hospital in our country to receive this accreditation.
The Phase 1 Unit of the Hacettepe University Medical Oncology Clinical Research Unit entered service in 2022.
