Hakkında

1963 yılında Ankara’da doğdu. İlk-orta ve lise eğitimini Karabük’te tamamladı. 1985 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. 1989 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Hacettepe Tıp Fakültesi’nde İç Hastalıkları uzmanlık eğitimine başladı ve 1993 yılında İç Hastalıkları uzmanı oldu. 1993 yılında başladığı Romatoloji yan dal eğitimini, 1996 yılında tamamladı. 1999 yılında Romatoloji Doçenti, 2004 yılında da Romatoloji Profesörü olan Sedat Kiraz halen Hacettepe Üniversitesi Hacettepe Tıp Fakültesi Romatoloji Bilim Dalı’nda çalışmaktadır. Yurt dışı dergilerde yayınlanmış 500’yi aşkın yayını ve bunlara alınmış 2000’in üzerinde atıfı bulunmaktadır.
