Ahmet Ziya Birbilen

Dr. Ahmet Ziya Birbilen, 2009 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nden mezun olduktan sonra, 2010-2014 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı’nda uzmanlık eğitimini tamamladı. 2014-2016 yılları arasında Kırşehir’de mecburi hizmet görevini yürüttü, ardından 2016-2019 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Çocuk Acil Bilim Dalı’nda yan dal uzmanlık eğitimini tamamladı. 2019-2022 yılları arasında Gaziantep Cengiz Gökçek Kadın Doğum ve Çocuk Hastalıkları Hastanesi’nde Çocuk Acil Uzmanı olarak mecburi hizmetini sürdürdü ve bu dönemde bir yıl süreyle başhekim yardımcılığı görevinde bulundu. 2022 yılından bu yana Hacettepe Üniversitesi İhsan Doğramacı Çocuk Hastanesi Çocuk Acil Bilim Dalında öğretim görevlisi olarak çalışmaktadır. 2023 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü’nde Simülasyon Temelli Tıp Eğitimi yüksek lisans programına başladı. Akademik çalışmaları arasında yapay zekâ destekli hasta yoğunluğu tahmin sistemleri, karar destek sistemleri, pediatrik resüsitasyon, travma yönetimi, afet hazırlığı ve simülasyon temelli eğitim yer almaktadır. Ulusal ve uluslararası kongrelerde sunumlar yapmış, çeşitli hakemli dergilerde yayınları bulunmaktadır. Türk Çocuk Acil Tıp ve Yoğun Bakım Derneği, European Society for Emergency Medicine (EUSEM), SESAM (Society for Simulation in Europe) ve WADEM (World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine) üyesidir.
