About

Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nden mezun olduktan sonra, aynı üniversitede İç Hastalıkları uzmanlığını tamamladı. İhtisası sırasında Prof. Dr. Şeref Zileli Başarılı Asistan Ödülü'nü aldı. Ardından Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nde Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma Hastalıkları üst ihtisasını yaptı. 2012-2013 yılları arasında A.B.D.'de Harvard Üniversitesi School of Public Health'te doktora sonrası çalışmalarda bulundu. Kırklareli Devlet Hastanesi'nde devlet hizmeti yükümlülüğünü yerine getirdi. 2015 yılında Türkiye Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma Derneği Genç Araştırıcı Ödülü'nü kazandı. Aynı yıl Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Endokrinoloji ve Metabolizma Bilim Dalı'nda yardımcı doçent olarak göreve başladı. 2017 yılında doçent, 2024 yılında ise profesör unvanını aldı. İlgi alanları arasında tiroid hastalıkları ve kanserleri ile diyabet tedavisi ve komplikasyonları yer almaktadır.
