Bilge Volkan Salancı

Bilge Volkan Salancı graduated from Ankara Gazi Anatolian High School and Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Department of Nuclear Medicine, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. She obtained her Ph.D in Genetics in Hacettepe University.

Bilge Volkan Salancı received Deutche Forcshungsgemainshaft (DFG) funding in 2008 and worked in Max-Planck Institute for Neurological Resaearch, Laboratory for Gene Therapy and Molecular Imaging in Germany.

Bilge Volkan Salancı received TÜBİTAK and Brain Research Association Project Support Award in 2003, and Prof. Dr. Suphi Artunkal Award in 2004.

She is interested in molecular imaging, nuclear neurology, nuclear oncology, and biologic effects of radiation.
