Şeref Rahmi Yılmaz

Professor Ş. Rahmi YILMAZ M.D undertook his undergraduate and postgraduate educations in Faculty of Medicine, Hacettepe University (1998). He received his residency training in Internal Medicine (2004) and served a fellowship in Nephrology (2008) in the same faculty. He became assistant professor in 2010 and associated professor in 2012 at Hacettepe University. He has studied in the field of tissue typing and serological tests for transplant immunology. He is codirector of transplantation center of Hacettepe University. His main research interests are clinical problems of transplantation, chronic kidney disease and hemodialysis. He was the author or co-author of numerous articles and book chapters in Turkish and English. He has acted as an investigator in several international studies in the field of nephrology and hypertension.
