Ömer Dizdar

Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'ni 2000 yılında bitirdi. Uzmanlık eğitimini Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi İç Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı'nda 2000-2005 yılları arasında, yan dal uzmanlık eğitimini Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi İç Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı Tıbbi Onkoloji Bölümü'nde 2005-2009 yılları arasında tamamladı. 2011 yılında doçentlik, 2017 yılında profesörlük unvanını aldı. 2004 yılında iç hastalıkları uzmanlık eğitimi esnasında Prof. Dr. Şeref Zileli-Yılın Başarılı Asistanı Ödülü'nü, 2011 yılında Prof. Dr. Nijad Bilge Ödülü'nü, 2012 ve 2018 yıllarında Türk Tıbbi Onkoloji Derneği Onkoloji Araştırma Ödülü'nü aldı. 2016 – 2020 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Onkoloji Hastanesi Başhekimliği görevini, 2020-2022 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Klinik Araştırmalar Etik Kurulu üyeliği görevini yürüttü. Prof. Dr. Ömer Dizdar halen Hacettepe Üniversitesi Kanser Enstitüsü Medikal Onkoloji ve Prevantif Onkoloji Anabilim Dalı’nda görev yapmaktadır ve Hacettepe Üniversitesi Kanser Enstitüsü Yönetim Kurulu Üyeliği görevlerini yürütmektedir. Gastrointestinal (kolon, rektum, karaciğer, mide) ve genitoüriner (böbrek, mesane, testis) tümörler, melanom, meme kanseri, kemik ve yumuşak doku sarkomları tedavisi ve ailesel kanserlerde genetik danışmanlık ile ilgilenmektedir.
